Our partner, Ariela Agosin, and director of the Civil Litigation and Arbitration Group, Francisco Fuentes, attended the third Arbitration Meeting of the CAM.
On Wednesday, April 2, the III Arbitration Meeting, organized by the Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAM), was held in the Manquehue Room of the Metropolitan Santiago Convention Center, which brought together more than 330 people.
The event was attended on behalf of az by our partner, Ariela Agosin, and the director of the Civil Litigation and Arbitration Group, Francisco Fuentes, who shared with authorities of CAM Santiago and the Santiago Chamber of Commerce.
The event began with welcoming remarks by María Agnes Salah Abusleme, president of CAM Santiago, and included a panel discussion on “International arbitration: keys to efficient management of business disputes”.
This space was moderated by Juan Pablo Schaeffer Fabres (Vice President of CAM Santiago) and had as speakers Miguel Ángles García Moreno (President of CAMACOES) and Macarena Vargas Losada (VP Legal of CODELCO).
In addition, during the event, an agreement was signed between CAM Santiago and the International Arbitration Center of Madrid – Ibero-American Arbitration Center (CIAM-CIAR), with the aim of working together and strengthening international commercial arbitration.
It was undoubtedly an excellent opportunity to reflect on the current and future challenges of arbitration, as well as to share experiences with leading professionals in the sector.
