Alejandro Montt: “We have to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the National Lithium Strategy to move forward quickly”

May 26, 2023

“We have a long way to go. The State has yet to sit down with the companies to discuss the best business model,” said our Director of Energy and Natural Resources.

“I believe that the National Lithium Strategy is good news; it allows for a public-private partnership that will finally make it possible to generate projects, and that this participation of the State will be seen as something positive. Also, because it will allow projects that could not be carried out before to be generated and made viable,” said Alejandro Montt, Director of Energy and Natural Resources.

He warns that this opportunity for the country should not be missed, but also that “we have a long way to go. The State has yet to sit down with the companies to discuss the best business model. We still need to discuss what type of technologies they need to bring. We still need to discuss what type of company we want to have; what type of association”.
