The publication Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) highlighted Albagli Zaliasnik (AZ) in the Patent 1000 ranking as one of Chile’s leading patent matter firms.
The publication recognized the work done by the intellectual property (IP) team, specifically in the pharmaceutical industry. Subsequently, due to their experience and extensive knowledge AZ has been positioned alongside Latin America’s preferred law firms.
Our Partner, Ariela Agosin and the Director of the IP Group, Eugenio Gormáz, were chosen in the individual categories for their excellent performance during 2018-2019, with them being considered one of the strongest pairs in the market.
Ariela Agosin was recognized in Band 1 for her experience and initiative in high complexity cases, which has led her to become one of the top IP litigators in Chile.
On the other hand, Eugenio Gormáz was described as an expert in pharmaceutical regulations and the patent system. His leadership, knowledge and clarity granted him a position in Band 2.
It is important to note that the Patent 1000 ranking annually selects the best firms and lawyers through an extensive research process.
This process takes about five months, where interviews are conducted with consultants and clients to identify the best experts in prosecution, transactions and patent litigation.
