UAF began the process of updating the rules applicable to reporting entities

Jun 28, 2024

The compilation will include all circulars issued by the UAF that are currently in force, with the exception of those issued in collaboration with other public institutions.

The Financial Analysis Unit (UAF) has initiated a public consultation on its proposed Updated Compilation of Standards (RAN), establishing guidelines that will be applicable to reporting entities, receiving comments from the latter in order to issue a general report with all the observations.

The initiative makes available to all regulated entities, public institutions, criminal prosecution agencies and the public as a whole, an updated compilation of the rules previously issued by the UAF.

The purpose is to have a clear and easy to understand set of rules covering all mandatory matters, including the regulated entities of 55 private sector activities.

It is important to mention that the compilation will include all circulars issued by the UAF that are currently in force, with the exception of those issued in collaboration with other public institutions.

Interested parties may send their comments and queries on the content of this proposal until Friday, June 28, 2024 via email to circularenconsulta@uaf.cl. The responses will be analyzed by the UAF to prepare a general report including the results of the consultation.

The proposed RAN, along with its Annexes and the regulatory report, will be available on the UAF website (www.uaf.cl) under the Regulatory section under Consultation until the end of June [Here].
