UAI and az sign strategic alliance to strengthen cybersecurity and compliance capabilities.
Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI) and albagli zaliasnik (az) announced the recent signing of a strategic alliance aimed at sharing knowledge and strengthening capabilities in the field of cybersecurity and compliance.
In addition to the above, the agreement seeks to establish a plan for ongoing collaboration between the two entities, through courses, as well as the organization of training talks and webinars.
“This agreement arises from the interest to collaborate and enhance the experience gained between academia and industry, emphasizing those aspects that are critical for boards and senior management,” says Ricardo Seguel, academic director of the Master in Cybersecurity at UAI and director of DTC Security.
In this regard, the first instance of collaboration was the masterclass “Triad of digital compliance: cybersecurity, A.I. and personal data” [See here], where the senior associate of az’s IP, Tech and Data group, Antonia Nudman, gave a presentation.
Another event that is part of this alliance is the talk on cyber-risks given in az, where Ricardo Seguel addressed critical aspects faced by companies in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Cybercrime and Personal Data and the risks associated with the technological supply chain, among other matters of interest.
On the other hand, Rodrigo Albagli, partner at az, pointed out that this alliance will consolidate the work successfully done so far and address issues that will be crucial in the second half of 2024.
“The key issues for companies are related to privacy, data protection, cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. The digital economy is here to stay and there are different regulations being approved in Congress. These will require companies to adopt mechanisms and protocols to comply with the law,” concluded Rodrigo.
Finally, both organizations state that they are willing to promote and open the doors to other areas of interest, as well as specialized services in cybersecurity and compliance, aimed at directors and senior management.
